  2. Submit the $50 deferral fee 
  3. Please allow 10-14 days for processing

How to get a Visa

Pay I-901 Fee

The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of State require a non-refundable I-20 processing fee of $350 USD. You can pay the I-901 fee.

Fill out DS-160

You will need to fill out the DS-160, and pay the affiliated fee online before scheduling your Visa interview.

Pay Visa Processing Fee

After you have received your I-20, you are ready to apply for your F-1 student visa.

You must pay a visa processing fee of approximately $185 USD when you apply for a Student F-1 Visa.

Schedule an Appointment

Don’t forget to schedule your visa appointment when you pay the visa processing fee!

Gather Necessary Documents

When getting ready to travel to the US Embassy, students must make sure they have all supporting evidence. Required/Strongly Advised documents include:

  • Receipts from I-901 & Visa Processing payments
  • DS-160 confirmation page
  • Form I-20
  • Passport

Additional evidence may include: transcripts, diplomas, standardized test scores, or bank statements from the last 6 months.
